How Bio-Ground works

The Bio-Ground sheet has ultra-fine conductive threads of silver fibre and carbon (2% + 2%) woven with cotton (96%). A cable with a plug connects the sheet to the earth of a wall socket, so the electrostatic charge that builds up in the body and in the bed is discharged to earth. This is the principle of grounding or earthing. It uses no electricity: the cable only uses the earth contact of the socket and draws no current.

Materials

96% cotton, 2% silver fibre and 2% carbon. Sides with plain white cotton elastic.

Care and washing

Unplug the cable before washing.
Max 30 °C, on a gentle cycle and inside out, to protect the fine conductive lines in the fabric.
Mild detergent. No bleach, fabric softener or solvents: softener leaves a coating on the conductive threads.
No tumble dryer: hang to air dry, in the shade.
Do not iron over the conductive lines.
Store loosely folded, without sharp creases.

Bio-Ground technology

Silver and carbon threads, connected to earth

The grid you see in the fabric is an ultra-fine conductive thread of silver and carbon interwoven with the cotton. Connect the included cable to the sheet’s snap and the plug to an earthed socket: the electrostatic charge that builds up in the bed is discharged to earth.
